About Layenet

Layenet was engineered with a singular philosophy: your ideas should speak for itself, and your platform shouldn't spy on you.

We operate on a strict Privacy by Design architecture. We collect the absolute minimum amount of data required to keep the ecosystem functional, safe, and spam-free.

Absolute Profile Privacy

Most platforms harvest your personal information before you even upload your first video. Layenet takes the opposite approach. We do not require an email address to create an account, nor do we force email verification on sign-up.

To join Layenet, all you need is a username and a password. Your identity remains entirely decoupled from your real-world footprint unless you explicitly choose otherwise.

Sustainable Scaling & Creators

Because we allow frictionless, anonymous account creation, we have implemented structural limits to prevent botting and server abuse. Standard anonymous accounts are limited to 5 video uploads per day.

Verified Creators

If you are a dedicated creator who needs to upload more frequently, you can opt-in to our Verified Creator program. By linking and verifying an email address, the daily upload restrictions are lifted. This ensures server resources are prioritized for real artists rather than automated spam networks.

Threat Mitigation, Not Surveillance

We take a radically minimized approach to network data. Layenet securely stores IP addresses in our backend strictly to mitigate Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and prevent mass account generation.

  • Creation Limit: A maximum of 3 accounts can be registered per IP address per day.
  • Short-Term Storage: IP addresses are retained only as long as necessary to enforce our daily security limits. Once their security utility expires, they are purged; we do not store them in our long-term databases.
  • Decoupled Data: Most importantly, IP addresses are never bound to the content you generate. We cannot and will not map network requests to your specific uploads or user profile.
